EU Embassy Day - 2012

Back in May, Mike and I stumbled upon the EU Embassy Open House/tour day.

Because we came onto the scene late we were only able to visit the Embassy of Malta on upper Connecticut Avenue (just before you hit the bridge over to Woodley Park), and the Embassy of Portugal.

These events are mostly to urge visitors to travel to their country, but it's also a great opportunity to check out the inside of an embassy, meet the ambassador, learn about the culture, eat good food and drink, and learn about the great travel opportunities.
