Two weeks ago one of my best friends, Zeenia, came to visit.
While she was in DC, we took a day and went out to Annapolis (Mike, me, Zeenia, and Mike's friend Alex) and toured around with my mom's best friend Melissa. We had lunch at the famous Chick and Ruth's Delly - Home of the Man v. Food Challenge (6lb milk shake, 3lb burger, one person, one hour). Totally insane! The food was fabulous.
After a late lunch and a tour around the city, we tried to visit the Naval Academy, but it had already closed for the day. We ended the day at the birthplace of White House/Black Market and of course had to go shopping :-)
All in all a fabulous day was had by all.
